All package information present on the server must be signed using either [OpenPGP] or [Harpy].
All check-ins in the associated Fossil repository must be signed using [OpenPGP].

It is implemented as a set of https://www.fossil-scm.org/fossil/doc/trunk/www/th1.md%|%TH1%|% (and Tcl) scripts running on a carefully configured instance of [Fossil].
All data necessary to run the repository server is stored in a [SQLite] database.
