The recorded application mainly uses FingerDown events, so it is not very comprehensible what triggers an action. In the device's developper settings "show fingertips" is activated. This produces a circle at the touch position. When trigger is changed from FingerDown to FingerUp, FingerMotion tracks the position like a pointer until selection happens.

The mp4 file is created in square geometry to keep dimensions on orientation change of a smartphone device.
