Most recently I worked for Blueteam Software (http://www.blueteamsoftware.com), but with a change in my personal life I had to leave Blueteam Software. I'm packing my bags and moving to the 'burbs of Chicago. In August 2006 I will begin working for mverify [http://www.mverify.com]. The folks at Blueteam are great, and I will miss working with them. I was originally introduced to [Tcl] when I was hired to rewrite all of a company's [GUI]s which were written in Tcl. This was circa 1995. Except for a one year stint doing (''ouch'') [Java] ('''ouch!''') and a short stint at C++ (ouch ''ouch'' '''ouch!''') I've been doing Tcl scripting ever since, mostly client side. I've written a couple of free widgets ([combobox] and [mclistbox]), an almost-widget ([supertext] -- a text widget with unlimited undo ala emacs) and contributed to the [tkdiff] project. I also started a wizard widget but haven't found the time to bring it out of beta status. In my spare time I'm working on a personal information manager / personal wiki -type application, partially for my own use. It is a test bed for me to get familiar with the [tile] widget set and [sqlite], and serves as a place for me to experiment with some slightly novel user interface ideas. http://www.tclscripting.com/edgenotes2/index.html my free software is available at my home page: http://purl.org/net/oakley/ . at gmail.com ---- On Feb 20, 2006, Bryan announced the presence of http://www.tclscripting.com/ - "News and articles on software development with Tcl/Tk" ---- [[ [Category Person] | [Category Home Page] ]]
