My first contact to Tcl/Tk was in 1996 when I searched a widget set easy to use and powerful in graphics ([canvas]) for my [EDA] software [Xelen]. Soon I was fascinated of it and also programmed many small tools for my desktop. I'm developing electronics and process lines for surface technology and Tcl/Tk helps me to get GUIs very quickly to control and visualize my circuits. I and my clients like rapid and reliable solutions :-) I'm also programming a bookkeeping software for "One-man-companies" (like me ;-) including internet shop data exchange etc. - of course in pure Tcl. Residence is Mayen (Vulkaneifel - between Cologne an Koblenz), Germany Best regards, Christoph ([chd]) ---- [[ [Category Person] ]]
