Version 170 of Companies That Use Tcl

Updated 2010-12-09 15:24:35 by SGun

The intent of this page is to be an index for pages that describe companies that are successful in using Tcl in their products. In turn, the intent of those pages is to show the many varied ways that Tcl is being used in successful projects, often "mission-critical" and/or "enterprise-class" ones. This seems especially important in the face of the widespread misperception that Tcl is a 'toy' language.

If your company has a product that uses Tcl and you would like to share your success with the Tcl community, create a page and add a link here.

Please try and keep this list in alphabetical order. Thanks.

Several years ago, at a time when there was far more genuine skepticism about whether a "toy like Tcl" had serious uses, CL maintained http://phaseit.net/claird/comp.lang.tcl/commercial-tcl.html . There's still useful information there, but also a lot of dead links. The Developers Exchange front page [L10 ] used to point to several interesting industrial uses of Tcl.
