The 5. European Tcl/Tk User Meeting will take place May 27/28, 2005 (Fri/Sat) at the FH in Bergisch Gladbach nearby Cologne(Köln). Holger Jacobs will assist Michael Haschek again to organize. We have done a reservation for a full equipped room (beamer, micro, etc) for up to 100 people. The fee would be 50 EUR including papers and beverages. The proceedings on CD will be available for EUR 5. Lunch can be taken in a nearby restaurant. Yes, and this also a call for papers. A short overview should be delivered latest by March 31, 2005. The final versions must be available by May 1, 2005. You will find more details at http://www.t-ide.com/tcl2005/tcl2005.html ----- '''Older information''' There are two locations offered : * Bonn/Köln * Amsterdam There have already been some requests to offer some training sessions before the meeting. And it is too our 5th meeting in Europe. So there are several questions I ask you: * Preferred location (one of above or another one ...please in Middle Europe!) * Which type of training would you like to have '''and''' attend? * As this is an anniversal meeting, some good ideas for entertainment? Please drop me ([Michael Haschek]) a mail with answers and thanks in advance for contributing good ideas. There are still some slots open for talks :-) ---- [RS]: Sorrily, the meeting never materialized - [FOSDEM 2004] took over as (inofficial) EuroTcl (in 2005 too, it appears) 17apr05 [jcw] - Looks like tcl2005e is on track just fine, Michael just confirmed the conference with an email to a large number of people. ---- [[ [Tcl Conferences] ]]
