I'm from Berlin/Germany, 30 years old. Up to 1999 I studied mechanical engineering, specialized on construction/design and informatics. Since 1999 I work in a former very small company dCADE. Now dCADE became a part of UGS, former Unigraphics Solutions, and now a part of EDS. I'm working on the build of schemable converters for data exchange between CAD systems and our simulation system. The simulation system eds/stamping is used to simulate sheet manifacturing presslines, presses and dies (kinematics, collisions, flow of material, ...). It's used too for offline programming, assembly validation, etc.. It's completely written in tcl, combined with a C++ Executable, handling the connection to a Motif/MFC UI. Every needed converter is too a mixture of C++ and tcl. Contact via Internet: martin.lemburg@eds.com http://www.plm-solutions.com http://www.ugs.com http://www.eds.com ---- [Category Home Page]
