'''TEB''' - 22 Nov 2005: I am compiling Metakit 2.4.9.4 from source on Slackware 10.2. I downloaded Metakit at http://www.equi4.com/pub/mk/metakit-2.4.9.4.tar.gz. After compiling, when I tried to load the package Mk4tcl from tclsh, I got the same error as posted at http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.db.metakit/2122. 

"undefined symbol: _ZTVN10_cxxabiv120_si_class_type_infoE" 

If you modify configure and configure.in according to the post above, Mk4tcl loads without problem. Apparently, the corrected configure and configure.in were not saved to http://www.equi4.com/pub/mk or were saved but were later replaced with earlier incorrect versions.
