 What: OpenVerse Visual Chatz
 Where: http://www.openverse.com/
Description: Graphical chat system built using Tcl/Tk. Supports a plugin
architecture, as well as provides support for Windows and Unix. <- This includes Linux
and OSX. Mac classic is still being worked out, as there are some Mac specific tcl/tk
problems? We really need a mac developer, or at least some more mac testers.
Should be portable to all Tcl/Tk implementations.
        Previously known as Metaverse.
        Currently at version 0.8-7 .

From David Gale :

If you're into fishing you can check out lots of information about that at the following web links. (what's this got to do with tcl? well I guess I use some tcl scripts to make the web sites work ! )

OpenVerse Comments - Someone saw fit to voice their displeasure with the lack of activity in OpenVerse, while we were rebuilding the project. While I am the last to impede on free speach, I feel it confuses the content of this page, and have made the comments page for sharing of opinions, as well as my reply to the one posted here. - Jeremy Miller
