I work in Bioinformatics and have made several applications in this field, that include a great deal of Tcl:

RnaViz: http://rnaviz.sourceforge.net/ : for drawing RNA secundary structure models

I am currently working on a web application using tclhttpd, which is really great

tclCompress: http://rrna.cde.ua.ac.be/tclcompress/ : compress data in Tcl
tcldbm: http://rrna.cde.ua.ac.be/tcldbm : dbm access from Tcl
