***Pikchr***

PIC-like markup language for diagrams in technical documentation. Can be embedded in Markdown documents on a [fossil] server. SVG files can be out of Pikchr files can be create as welldirectly in the terminal using the command line argument `fossil pikchr <pikfile>`.

The [pandoc-tcl-filter] has a filter for Pikchr code to allow direct embedding of Pikchr code into Markdown, LaTeX or other document types which can be converted by Markdown.
