Working at Eurocontrol Maastricht UAC [http://www.eurocontrol.int/muac/public/subsite_homepage/homepage.html], the upper area air traffic control centre responsible for the European backbone air traffic over Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and northern Germany. Team leader of the OPE/HMI team. Product owner of the Controller Working Position (CWP) subsystem [http://www.eurocontrol.int/muac/public/standard_page/AUOIopsRoom.html], dealing with the interactive presentation of track, flightplan, conflict, coordination, weather and support data to the ATC controller. 

Currently managing a project to design and implement the [MAS-UAC Fallback CWP].

Married to Anne Rosa Wangnick (http://anne.wangnick.de), and sometimes helping her programming feng-shui applications in [Python].
