Some applications need fancy things like rounded (or other exotic format) buttons, [LED]s that glow, and other full graphical widgets, that are difficult to emulate with the regular [Tk] widgets. Think of Winamp(TM) or other mpeg3 sound players. Here is my try on that: A customizable set of widgets drawn on a canvas. Its behaviour is very primitive yet, but enough for my needs. I used it in my VebKlaso Player, https://web.archive.org/web/20050305221439/vebklaso.com:80/en/index.html%|%http://vebklaso.com , a online synchronized audio presentation system. There is a pdf User's Manual at the site. Read more about it at https://web.archive.org/web/20060502095646/pragana.net/skin.html%|%http://pragana.net/skin.html. You may download the package at https://web.archive.org/web/20060502095646/pragana.net/Skin-0.1.tar.gz%|%http://pragana.net/Skin-0.1.tar.gz. Save it and read the short README file enclosed. Here are a couple screenshots of the player with custom interface: [https://web.archive.org/web/20060502095646im_/pragana.net/images/vkplayer1-small.jpg] [https://web.archive.org/web/20060502095646im_/pragana.net/images/vkplayer2-small.jpg] ---- [Category GUI]
