[KMG] Snit is written and maintained under Tcl/Tk 8.4. However, for legacy customer-support reasons 
I am constrained to using Tcl/Tk 8.3. I have implemented a back-port of Snit to Tcl/Tk 8.3.4 which
passes 100% of the Snit regression test suite. We are using it extensively (including types, widgets and widgetadaptors based on BWidget 1.4) with great success.

Update (Jul 2006) - The snit backport to 8.3 is now included as part of tcllib.
