An extension based upon the principle of stacked channels.
Provides several conversions, hash algorithms and other transformations.

For example [Base64 encoding and decoding], zlib/bzlib compression, SHA, MD5, etc. Thus well-suited to handle [mime]-Mail. An add-on, Trfcrypt, provides [Encryption and Decryption] facilities.
