[HJG] 2007-05-27 - The placement of labels for [scale]-widgets is a bit inflexible:
"For vertical scales the label is displayed just to the right of the top end of the scale. 
For horizontal scales the label is displayed just above the left end of the scale."
It would be nice if the label could also be placed above/below/left/right/centered.

   * Tk is too ugly on *nix platforms. [Tile] is just a marginal improvement, and not as easy to use as Tk.
