A Tcl user since 2004.  I've programmed in more languages than I care to mention but keep returning to Tcl/Tk + C as the most effective combination for rapid development of robust cross-platform applications.  I've built and deployed portable GUI tools, high capacity network servers, heterogenous platform management systems, data management solutions, embedded device tools using this combination.
