I used Tcl for some small tasks at work and the university shell module system back in the early 2000s. Now in 2019 I am re-exploring it as a language-oriented programming language and as a replacement for bash scripts without the quoting headaches. I've also realized that Tcl should be a pretty good language for generating Nix[https://nixos.org/nix/] expressions.
