We often make the point that Tcl exhibits a radically simple superficial syntax
[[references]], in which are embedded several small "domain-specific" languages.
These latter include:
   * the [expr] arithmetic evaluator, strongly reminiscent of [Algol] or [C] conventions;
   * [regular expressions];
   * [[widgetry and ensembles]];
   * [[... [glob] ...]];
   * [[... [expect] ...]];
   * ...
