I'm a contract Computer Programmer based in Oxfordshire, UK.

I came to Tcl about 10 years ago needing to write a small script for a project that was on UNIX but moving to Windows, so the prtability was attractive. To my surprise and delight my first script "just worked" when I switched operating systems (apart from some minor problems with pathname seperators that I now know how to avoid).

I've been using it for home projects ever since and use it at work whenever I get the chance.
