Alan Grunwald I'm a contract Computer Programmer based in Oxfordshire, UK. I came to Tcl about 10 years ago needing to write a small script for a project that was on UNIX but moving to Windows, so the portability was attractive. To my surprise and delight my first script "just worked" when I switched operating systems (apart from some minor problems with pathname separators that I now know how to avoid). I've been using it for home projects ever since and use it at work whenever I get the chance. I'm also a spectacularly dreadful typist; thanks to the wikiGnomes who have corrected this page ***Stack Overflow profile*** [http://stackoverflow.com/users/flair/2303274.png]<
> http://stackoverflow.com/users/2303274/nurdglaw ---- Sorry to barge in like this, but I couldn't find any other way to contact you. You made some edits to the StackOverflow documentation topic "Brace your expressions" that weren't very helpful at all, although I don't doubt that your intentions were the best. You added an example of the benefits of bracing to the list of dangers of not bracing, you added a "counterexample" that obscures what is happening in the braced variant, and rewrote a paragraph taking out the point of having the paragraph in the first place. I'm going to rewrite the topic from scratch now, and I would appreciate if you edited with more care in the future, if you must do so. If you want to discuss this, you can contact me at peter.lewerin@tele2.se. <>Person
