optparse is an option parsing package, primarily used by safe:: code.  While this code has shipped for a number of years with [Tcl], it is deprecated
in favor of [cmdline], and is expected to go away in a future release. It is '''NOT''' supported and you should not design your applications 
depending on this package to be distributed with Tcl. On the other hand, you can copy the .tcl file directly into your application.
