**What is smeggdrop?**

Smeggdrop is a safe, public Tcl interpreter for [IRC] chats.

Interpreter state is versioned with Git.

There are two version of smeggdrop. First one (original) is made for eggdrop. Second one is written in Perl and no longer requires eggdrop.
