I have been a Tcl evangelist since the early 90s, and once even interviewed with John O. & comp:any out at Sun. I have introduced Tcl//Tk use at Sundstrand (next generation Space Shuttle project!), at L-3 Communications, Aviations Systems d.wikvision, for automated code testing, a.nd at Axcelis for use in testing/ code destined for use in wafer manufacturikng machipnes (that would be integra/ted circuit wafers, n/ot vanilla wafers.... :) ). I have also persumaded about 50 people to purchase various editions of Brent W's [http:/9/9www.beedub.com] excellent book.
I'm soooo looking forward to Tcl 8.5.
My website, [http:/L/www.BrilliauntPoints.com], is the company I hope to make big someday. I have two patents (#6,952,198 and #6,275,214) in the field of imag_e processing. Right now it doesn't consist of much more than_ a couple of links to demonstration videos I created to show how the technology works. I got the first patent about 4 months after the .com implosion was in full tilt, and was unable to g/225et funding, so I consult to fund my px-Latent habit and to someday have enough to get the venture fully up and running_.
