MS sees a FastCGI implementation and wonders: is it any easier to install a FastCGI server than installing aolserver? The security and resource usage implications should be relatively similar, assuming that aolserver is listening on a local firewalled port and the main webserver (apache?) proxies requests to it.
There seems to be no real documentation, and it is not clear what the differences to nstcl and especially portable.nsd are. It seems this is a repackaging of the two projects.
