How to link to a page

HJG I know these variations:

• Link to an external webpage: just write the url: http://www.google.com/
• Link to an external webpage without showing the link: write the url in square brackets: [L1 ]. This is nice for really long links like [L2 ] - Amazon: "Practical Programming in Tcl and Tk (4th Edition)"
• Link within the wiki to a specific wiki page: put name of page in square brackets: How do Wiki Categories work
• Link within the wiki to a specific wiki page, showing square brackets: [Wikit Problems] - use triple square brackets
• Link within the wiki to a wiki page, without getting a backlink: https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/2272 = [Category Application]
• External link to a wiki page by number - https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/149
• External link to a wiki page by name - https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/How+to+link+to+a+page
• At one time, one could write this as https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/HowToLinkToAPage . It still sometimes works
• One can link to a group of pages by specifying a word in a title, such as https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/link .
• One can also link to a group of pages by specifying a word in a page, such as https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/external*
