I've maintained xmaxima, the Tcl/Tk interface to Maxima since 2006. However, I'm still a beginner Tcl/Tk programmer; I would like to hear any suggestions you have for improving that package.

I was not aware of the Tcl/Tk interface to Maxima, I tried it and I find it more pleasant than the wxWidgets one I used before. (Though, I admit, I do not use it enough to really comment on the GUI :))
Are there any specific aspects that you would like to discuss?

Can I post some questions here about Maxima?
One is: quit() does not stop the GUI and after that I get error messages about channels that are not found. I realised that this was the problem after some experimenting ;).
