This is my bio taken from the GSoC application:
My name is Michael Aram. Last year, I already had the chance to participate in the Google Summer Of Code and successfully finished my project. My project report was distributed to the participants of the last Tcl conference together with the conference proceedings on USB sticks.
I am currently enrolled in the doctorate program "Information Systems" at the "Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration" - I finished the corresponding master's program in 2009.
During my studies, I have been working half-time almost permanently. Worth mentioning for this application is my job at the "Institute for Information Systems and New Media", where I worked in the Learn@WU project team, which drives the dotLRN based e-learning platform of my university. During this time, I wrote my bachelor's thesis about a new "Portal System for OpenACS", which was awarded by IBM in the context of a cross-university "Web 2.0 Student Contest". After that, I worked at SAP headquarters in Germany for six months, where I wrote my master's thesis in the field of semantic data modeling. Currently, I am working for Knowledge Markets Ges.m.b.H, a company which develops e-learning solutions based on OpenACS.
I would classify myself as an emerging, highly motivated developer, who is greatly interested in object oriented web-programming.
