ReadKit is a pure Tcl Metakit viewer/extractor/converter. It will be of interest to anyone who wants to provide backward compatible support for Metakit-hosted Starkits from tclkits based on different storage technology (e.g, a zip-based tclkit).
The code is too long for a wiki page so I've hosted it on Chisel at readkit.tcl . It could go into Tcllib if someone was willing to document it.
The code was kindly provided by Jean-Claude Wippler who managed to find it in his archive.
