TPM

TPM is a cross-platform command-line utility to download and install packages from the PTPR - Public Tcl Package Repository.

Features

• List locally installed packages
• Fetch package index from a remote repository
• Check installed packages for available updates (updates)
• Install packages from remote
• Automatically installs to a writable path in $auto_path
• Works on Windows, Linux

Requirements

All required packages to run on linux-86_64 or win32-x86_64 are included:

• Tcl 9.0
• NX, aka The NextScripting Framework
• tls 2.0
• Few Tcllib packages (for zipfile::decode, http, json)

How to Use

Clone this repo or download it

fossil clone https://code.cloudz.cv/tpm tpm.fossil
mkdir tpm
cd tpm
fossil open ../tpm.fossil

Run the TPM shell:

tclsh main.tcl

Use interactive commands:

> help
> installed
> installed nats json
> available
> updates
> install nats
> update nats
> delete nats
> exit
