Tons of good stuff this week. The anticipated 8.0.5 core release is out. I was excited to see Fuzz's work on embedding Tcl/Tk as an ActiveX control. For extension authors, check out the draft proposal on Scriptics' TEA site, and watch for more news soon.
- The Tcl/Tk 8.0.5 core has been released (see [L2 ])
- TclControl is an early release of software allowing you to wrap up a Tcl/Tk script as an ActiveX control (see [L3 ])
- David Gravereaux explains how to write multithreaded extensions for Tcl (see [L4 ])
- The BWidget package is now up to version 1.1 (see [L5 ])
- Paul Duffin is working on extending the built-in Tcl object types, to include e.g. map, vector, string, struct, chain (see [L6 ])
