ComboBox .combo -values {zero one}
pack .combo
#changing the content of the combo
.combo configure -values {two three}
#return the index of the current item
puts [.combo getvalue]
#set a new index

ComboBox doesn't have any clear method. [setvalue @-1] doesn't work too. If you want to clear the content of the Combo, just configure its text as {}:
