I was originally introduced to Tcl when I was hired to rewrite all of a company's GUIs, which were written in Tcl. This was circa 1995. Except for a one year stint doing (ouch) Java (ouch!), I've been doing Tcl scripting ever since.
I've written a couple of free widgets (combobox and mclistbox), an almost-widget (supertext -- a text widget with unlimited undo ala emacs) and contributed to the tkdiff project.
