F3 is a declarative JavaTM scripting language with static typing. Created by Sun employee Chris Oliver, the F3 language is designed to make GUI programming easier. Check out the demos online.
There is no current overlap with Tcl/Tk as far as I know. Certainly, however, with TclBlend, Jacl. and Swank, the potential is certainly there, and the Tk community needs to be aware of the potential impact of this language.
