FOP is Formatting Objects Processor. It is an idea from apache [L1 ] for XML. It basically allows conversion of XML documents into binary formats, for instance PDF. Currently only a Java version is available, which could be used with TclBlend or Jacl. I (Neil Madden) am _thinking_ about starting one in C as a Tcl extension, but it's a lot of work.
