sdw - 2007-10-03 - I suggest we start to present Tcl as an "elite" language that only a chosen few have proven worthy enough to use. Yes we will maintain an open, welcoming community, but when asked about why Tcl isn't widely adopted we should simply state: most people don't have the luxury of experience. I would like to position Tcl as a "Programmer's language." Essentially, if you don't understand how tcl can improve your product, you don't understand either Tcl or your product. Other smart ass answers can include "Saturn outsells Mercedes. But I wouldn't call Saturn the better car."
