The Hecl Programming Language is a high-level scripting language implemented in Java. It is intended to be small, extensible, extremely flexible, and easy to learn and use.
Hecl is very similar, but not identical to Tcl. It is initially being built as a scripting language for J2ME capable cell phones, but will hopefully be useful in other places where adding a scripting language to Java makes sense.
