Version 7 of PocketICS

Updated 2003-07-12 09:51:30

MNO - I've been working on a client for Internet Chess servers such as the ICC (chessclub.com) and FICS (freechess.org) for the PocketPC using Tcl/Tk for Windows/CE. The PocketICS (aka pICS) homepage is at http://www.oakden.org/mark/pICS

It's fairly crude at present.

Unfortunately it doesn't work on PocketPC yet (I have some peculiar issues - see PocketPC socket/fileevent strangeness).

It works fine under Linux, but there are so many other client apps that work there that this isn't of much use.

It currently looks a little like this:-

I will post a link to the software just as soon as I have solved the problem on the PocketPC socket/fileevent strangeness page. (The above screenshots were generated whilst using some temporary code to poll the connection using after.)
