Working at Eurocontrol Maastricht UAC [L1 ], the upper area air traffic control centre responsible for the European backbone air traffic over Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and northern Germany. Team leader of the OPE/HMI team. Product owner of the Controller Working Position (CWP) subsystem [L2 ], dealing with the interactive presentation of track, flightplan, conflict, coordination, weather and support data to the ATC controller.
Currently managing a project to design and implement the MAS-UAC Fallback CWP.
Married to Anne Rosa Wangnick (http://anne.wangnick.de ), and sometimes helping her programming feng-shui applications in Python.
