I've worked in IT for over 20 years and since 1989 as a contract analyst/programmer. Most of the work I did is now provided by large offshore outsourcing companies. In 2004 I set up a company to provide cheap software tools which I distribute as donation ware.
My experience is in Unix and Windows evironments, largely with database development. I do take on private bespoke work, and still take on contract work when available.
I live in the pretty city of Bristol in the west of England, with my wonderful wife, three beautiful children, and strange cat.
