- Primary interest: a lean and mean and orthogonal and fast core. A huge space of possibilities may yet be generated by a small number of well-chosen primitives.
- Special focus: the bytecode compiler. Dreaming of (1) minimizing and orthogonalizing its opcode list and (2) turning it into JIT (native code).
- Further: adding optional type annotations for yet faster native code generation.
