jnc stands for Jeremy Cowgar.

I just added to the wiki a simple game I wrote, TkReverse. --- jnc 12/31/2006

I've been away from Tcl for some time now however, I began looking for a language faster than Ruby and not as complex as C. I had a simple utility that read a text file with pipe symbols as the delimiter, had to do some text parsing and then db queries and updates on data based on the file contents. Well, I programmed the simple application in C, Python, Scheme, Lisp, Fortran, Factor and then decided, hey, what about Tcl. As it turns out, Tcl was faster than the Scheme, Lisp and Factor versions, and only a second slower (out of 12 seconds) than the Python version and was only 12 lines long, compared to 40 in Scheme and Lisp versions, 20 in python. So, the app is now in production use and it has renewed my intrest in Tcl... --- jnc 12/29/2006

I recently began developing my companies internal web based medical application in Tcl/Tk and got the approval to continue development on the project after a very successful demo give on 9/17/2007. --- jnc 9/27/2007.
