Scale-widgets are used for numeric input. They work somewhat similar to sliders. They don't cause text to scroll, but they adjust numbers by moving the button of the slider.
Schnexel Linear numeric input (e.g. 1-100) it looks. For logarithmic input (e.g. 0.001-100.0) it looks I need to roll my own, and the scale widget is not very helpful (rollable). Classic.
