Uncore, at it's inception, is an attempt to offer the lowest conceivable barrier to entry. It's primary attributes are simplicity, ease, and convenience.

name: this is a name for a thing, a noun, a proper noun, that refers to.. something. Can be wrapped in to go to the wiki page of the software.

description: this is a brief human readable description of the noun previously named.

homepage: Link to a web page or canonical repo or whatever.

download: optional list of urls, following any naming convention, that link to a downloadable artifact, & optional wiki label, following any naming convention

tags: optional list of tags in twitter format, for informal categorization or whatever. Maybe be wrapped in to lead somewhere
