Dutch for "customer" (or "client").
Stevel is such a pro.
Until he can get here, and tell the story himself, note that his NO2004 presentation [L1 ] puts in paying customers hands NOW what IBM apparently believes will only take five million USD to build: "
• centralised authentication • secure communication • a simple web server in the client • an application client/server connection - use to implement an API in the client - use to ship code from client to server - invoke functionality on the desktop"
Steve uses PAM on the server.

XO Is there any chance I can get a copy of this great Klant and give it a try? I have read the paper and the above mentioned Presentation file. Great idea!
I've put the source (+ binary libraries for OSX, Linux and Windows) at [L2 ]. No guarantees it will work on your system - I found variations between the various VNC servers. But good luck, and feel free to contact me via email if you have any questions stevel
AMG: Argh, UTF-8 problems again! I pasted in the correct character, found using [encoding convertfrom utf-8]. It showed up right in Preview, but I got a Bad UTF-8 page when I tried to save, chiding me to please check my browser. I'm using Firefox 3.0.8, set to Unicode (UTF-8).
