Version 16 of Bryan Oakley

Most recently I worked for Blueteam Software (http://www.blueteamsoftware.com ), but with a change in my personal life I had to leave Blueteam Software. In August 2006 I will begin working for mverify [L1 ]. Prior to working for Blueteam I worked on the Bitkeeper product for BitMover, inc.

I was originally introduced to Tcl when I was hired to rewrite all of a company's GUIs which were written in Tcl. This was circa 1995. Except for a one year stint doing (ouch) Java (ouch!) and a short stint at C++ (ouch ouch ouch!) I've been doing Tcl scripting ever since, mostly client side.

I've written a couple of free widgets (combobox and mclistbox), an almost-widget (supertext -- a text widget with unlimited undo ala emacs) and contributed to the tkdiff project. I also started a wizard widget but haven't found the time to bring it out of beta status.

In my spare time I'm working on a personal information manager / personal wiki -type application, partially for my own use. It is a test bed for me to get familiar with the tile widget set and sqlite, and serves as a place for me to experiment with some slightly novel user interface ideas.
