ARM is a multinational semiconductor company , known for their widely used ARM CPU architecture .

ARM only licenses their technology, as opposed to manufacturing chips themselves. It is commonly used in embedded devices, cellphones, routers, ... and more recently there seems to be an interest for servers.

  • Tcl is able to run on ARM devices (for example: it can be compiled for OpenWRT Linux to run on cheap networking appliances; also check [Binary Distributions])
