t-Maker is an updated version of the Spynergy Web Developer, an IDE and GUI builder created by MDD that was distributed in concert with the 1997 BOOK Interactive Web Applications With Tcl/Tk.
.
As described in the book, Spynergy Web Developer is “an inexpensive and easy-to-use pure-Tcl/Tk tool for rapidly building dynamic applet-based content that you can integrate into your Web pages or run as stand-alone applications.” The tool included: “a highly customizable graphical development environment, a visual drag-and-drop graphical applet builder, easy re-use of user-built application component objects, an integrated database engine, a powerful remote procedure call (RPC) facility, Public Key authentication capability, demonstration source code, and documentation in HTML form.”
.
The 1997 code was updated in 2005 by Michael Haschek, renamed t-Maker, and integrated with his T-IDE Tcl/Tk development environment. It was never released on its own.
MDD: I managed to find a t-Maker Starkit that I was tinkering with in 2015, and confirmed that it runs, and could open some old Tcl apps, though I did not confirm it was complete. You can download it here: [L1 ]
