A tool for rapid and easy deployment originating in the TclPro tool set. It's function is to bundle various tcl scripts into a single distributable binary.
This binary makes uses of a virtual filesystem with limited functionality, specifically written to support this tool.
Since release 2.5 ActiveState's Tcl Dev Kit contains the successor of prowrap, TclApp. This tool is based upon the complete, generic virtual filesystem of Tcl 8.4.
Before release 2.5 the Tcl Dev Kit contained an enhanced version of prowrap providing a GUI for easy access to the features of the application.
