Version 33 of Zipguy

Greetings.

My email is zipguypub @ thefreesite dot com please change the dot to a ".".

I have written programs using TCL. Here are my wiki donations. I am an older fellow (pushing 57) who has experienced over 40 computer languages on platforms which range from many mainframes, to mid-tiers, to PCs. I like TCL. Wish it had a better IDE.

Free PDF which is at http://www.zipguy.012webpages.com/freepdf.htm was written in TCL in 2000, which is more than 10 years ago.

{ZipGuy} 2012-Jul-23: It's no longer there, not sure if anyone is still interested in it. What I did was good. I wrote the first version of Freepdf, which had no competitors and DID work on Windows 98. However it was rather multi-parted to download everything, and write the detailed instructions (which were exceedingly complex to maintain, never mind many versions of Windows ME/2000/XP/etc...). There have been many freeware programs written much better since, and which is, what I wanted to have happen. I provided the catalyst and others took it on. Yeah. If you want a copy of it real bad, please E-Mail me, and telling me why you want it, would be a good reason for me.

Here's my splash screen http://www.zipguy.012webpages.com , where you can get anywhere on my small site, including my small TCL page at http://www.nonags.org/members/zipguy/tcl/tcl.htm and http://www.nonags.org/members/zipguy/tcl/TCL_Bookmark.htm .

{ZipGuy} 2012-Jul-23: All of the above three links are under re-construction. You can see my new site at http://www.geocities.ws/thezipguy . Don't know if anyone E-Mailed me because I no longer had the internet. It was kind of expensive for me, so I cut it out. It does semm kind of strange behavior on the web since 2005, until 2012.

Here's the link to 200+ links to TCL files at http://www.nonags.org/members/zipguy/tcl/TCL_Bookmark.htm . The files are categorized by Starkit, @Wikii, Software etc.

{ZipGuy} 2012-Jul-23: These still link to mini.net instead of wiki.tcl.tk if they refer to wiki pages, which most of them do. Under re-construction. But the rest of these were in wiki when it moved, and should still work.

Here's the Wiki pages:

Wiki

Some are expected to be here on Wiki, even though they are actually not, they appear in my bookmarks category of @Wiki. Some have been denied the use of a "/" in Windows Favorites filenames. Some I disliked the Title of the page and had changed it, had to change it back. Shucks... :)

unperson Welcome to WikiT, Zip guy! I'll try your pdf editor in the next few days. This is quite a task you undertook, writing a pdf editor! This is certainly not easy!

Zipguy 06/2005 - I'm thinking about making a small version of "Free PDF" which would be just a .kit file. It would not have a version of tclkitsh-win32.upx.exe which would make it very small, but you would need to download it from [L7 ]. One cool thing would be that you could just download a new tclkitsh-win32.upx.exe that you needed but you would have to have it installed.

This would really suck though because I would need to change the install directions, which are, extemely EXPLICIT with corresponding screenshots. hmmm...
